Union Labour and Employment Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya announced major upcoming reforms to modernize EPFO services across India, including technology-enabled single-window offices allowing members to resolve EPF issues at any regional office nationwide. Key initiatives include the introduction of authorised EPF Suvidha Providers to assist members, a mission-mode KYC drive to unlock funds in inoperative accounts, and inclusion of social security provisions in India’s FTAs to protect overseas workers. Highlighting India’s rapid social security expansion, the Minister stated that coverage will reach 100 crore citizens by March 2026, reinforcing the Government’s commitment to inclusive and citizen-centric social protection.
