The Ministry of Labour and Employment, vide S.O. 5109(E), has issued a Notification revising the wage ceiling from ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per month for the purposes of Chapter III of the Code on Social Security, 2020 relating to the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF), with effect from 17 September 2026.
