The Government of Maharashtra, vide Trade Circular No. 19T of 2025, has announced an extension of the due date for filing Profession Tax (PT) returns. Employers and establishments are now permitted to file their PT returns up to 31st December 2025. This extension provides additional compliance relief and aims to facilitate smooth filing of returns by taxpayers across the state.
