The Government of West Bengal, vide Notification **No. Labr/103/Law**, has published the **Draft West Bengal Code on Wages Rules, 2026** for public consultation. The proposed rules seek to operationalize the **Code on Wages, 2019** by prescribing detailed provisions relating to minimum wages, payment of wages, bonus, wage deductions, record maintenance, inspections, and employer compliance obligations.
