The Government of NCT of Delhi, vide F.No. Lab/Addl.LC/Misc/278–286, has issued an advisory directing employers to ensure that the maximum spread over working hours does not exceed the limits prescribed under the Delhi Shops and Establishments Act and the Factories Act. The advisory also includes precautionary measures to be followed in view of the prevailing air pollution conditions. Employers are advised to review work schedules, maintain statutory compliance, and implement necessary health and safety measures.
