The Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act) mandates employers to maintain and submit an Annual Report in accordance with Sections 20, 21, and 22 to demonstrate compliance with workplace safety and grievance redressal requirements. The report must include essential organizational details such as the establishment's registration status, date of incorporation, and nature of business, along with a gender-wise breakup of regular and contractual employees. It should also provide the composition of the Internal Committee, including the names, designations, and signatures of its members, ensuring compliance with the statutory requirement of a woman Presiding Officer and an external member. Additionally, employers must disclose details of POSH awareness and capacity-building initiatives, including training sessions, workshops, dates, duration, and participant numbers. The report should accurately capture the number of complaints received, inquiries conducted, cases resolved, actions taken, and complaints pending beyond the prescribed timeline. To ensure accountability, the Annual Report must be signed by the Chairperson of the Internal Committee and countersigned by the Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, or the head of the organization before submission to the jurisdictional District Officer in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
