The Government of Rajasthan has released the Draft Rajasthan Code on Social Security Rules, 2026 vide Notification S.O. 152 dated 13 January 2026. The draft rules aim to unify and streamline provisions relating to EPF, ESI, and gratuity, with a strong focus on extending social security coverage to unorganised workers, gig workers, platform-based workers, and construction workers. The framework emphasizes digital-first compliance, institutionalised welfare boards, time-bound processes, and enhanced enforcement mechanisms to improve transparency, coverage, and dispute resolution.
